The great state of Alaska is known as The Last Frontier. On this EarthCruiser Adventure you’ll explore the heart of the state, driving gravel and dirt roads deep into the interior. Along the way you’ll pick up new skills in backcountry survival, including bear safety and glacier traversing. You’ll see incredible wildlife, from bears and moose to otters and whales. You’ll have the chance to run a working sled dog team and enjoy a soak in a beautiful hotsprings, enjoying incredible mountain scenery along the way.

Departing from EarthCruiser headquarters in beautiful Bend, Oregon, this trip takes in the best in coastal scenery in the Pacific Northwest. We’ll drive backroads through the Cascade Mountains, stopping at Crater Lake National Park. We’ll hit a few challenging backroads on our way south, where we’ll get the opportunity to hone our skills in off-road driving and recovery.

This trip is heavy on scenery and wildlife, taking in some of western Canada’s most epic views and pristine wilderness areas. Starting near Vancouver, BC, we’ll begin with an easy but jaw-dropping drive over the Sea to Sky Highway to Whistler. From there, we’ll head inland over some challenging roads to the isolated beauty of Chilko Lake, known as the location for the TV Reality Show, Alone.
