Traveling without limitations doesn’t just mean remote, overland travel. For us it means making every journey as easy and comfortable as it can be. For most people who own expedition trucks, the most stressful situations can be in high traffic paved areas.
Our 2020 EarthCruiser EXP was designed with this in mind. With a 140 inch wheelbase, and exterior dimensions similar to a mid size pickup truck it makes the cobble roads in Paris feel like a runway. Highway travel is not compromised either. The Vortec 6.0L engine runs quiet at highway speeds and has plenty of pep to climb that mountain pass and get around slower drivers. When it comes time to stop, each wheel is outfitted with 14 inch, vented disks compressed by heavy duty, dual-piston calipers with ABS. Tested and approved by the National Highway Safety Association, our proven braking system gives you the confidence to stop in any situation.
Inside the cab we’ve improved the ergonomics as well. Outfitted with Scheelmann Vairo captains chairs they are the most comfortable seat in the world for long distance travel. The center counsel is designed with 4 cup holders, large map box with power ports, and even has a security safe all within reach of both the passenger and driver. The automatic 6-speed Allison transmission has all the shifting points exactly where they should be to optimize power and fuel economy. Achieving best in class mpg and range, long stretches of pavement won’t break the bank.
When we say this truck is so adventurous you might never come back, we mean it. This truck loves to travel, and the more remote you get the more it comes alive. This EarthCruiser has more drivetrain control than ever, which means for this 4×4 nothing will stand in your way.
The entire drivetrain and suspension system was designed to our spec, so that in both high speed and low crawling conditions the truck maintains traction and allows you to travel comfortably. The house was also designed with the rigors of off-roading in mind. Imagine shaking your house continuously for days and days, it would fall apart. Well that is basically what you are doing to an EarthCruiser, so our attention to the materials used, marine grade construction, and components selected are built to stay together while still providing a modern and sleek living quarters.
Once you reach your destination our proven power, water, and living systems take the stress out of staying there for as long as you want. You don’t need thousands of watts of power, because the systems are designed to sip energy. You don’t need to carry an endless amount of fresh water, because the systems reuse what they can and purify more water when necessary. The entire house runs on energy generated by the solar panels and an auxiliary diesel tank, no propane, shore-power, or loud generators are necessary.
Plus, if mother nature decides to try and ruin your trip, there are redundant ways to keep your plumbing from freezing, batteries from running empty, and all your guests and gear clean, dry and happy
Why set your goal to taste wine in Napa Valley when you can travel to wineries in the South of France? Most travelers don’t have ambitions to go overseas because they think it will be a big hassle. With the EarthCruiser EXP we alleviate the hassle by designing it to fit into a shipping container when the roof is lowered.
Why a container is important? Because it is the safest, most cost effective way to transport your vehicle overseas. The EarthCruiser EXP is the only expedition ready vehicle that is able to fit into a shipping container, and our owners have been doing it since 2008.
The Fuso platform is one of the most popular commercial trucks in the world and can be found on 6 continents. Once you arrive to your country of choice feel protected knowing that our systems were selected to meet the global standards necessary for world travel, and you can source replacement parts quickly and easily.
Your home away from home allows you to sleep in your own bed, use your own towels, and cook your own food. All while staying completely off the grid, and not worrying about unnecessary travel costs.
And don’t forget, our international owners and travel logistics team is always there to help if and when you decide to make your way across the pond.
Do you love to surf? bike? kayak? hike? Or photograph? Our owners do to, and we put a lot of effort into designing the trucks to carry all your gear to your favorite places.
The rear bumper is outfitted with three hitch receivers that make carrying motorbikes, and other custom racks you want more feasible. Optional roof racks can carry canoes, kayaks, and SUPs, while a side entry ladder allows easy access to them. The roof is also a photographers dream to catch the best shots.
Worried about covering up or breaking your solar panels? The panels use separate diodes that allow each cell to work independently, so you only lose the energy generating power of ones you cover up. They are also glass free, making them lighter and stronger than traditional panels.
Want to play in the snow? Our trucks have been used in minus 30 degree Fahrenheit temperatures with the roof extended, while keeping the inside warm and all the systems working. Skis will fit in the external rear storage compartment, and you can easily dry your gear by hanging it in the entry way shower area.
The ability to cook inside or outside also makes it a perfect vehicle to be the best host to your friends and family. Sit 4 comfortably around the front dinette, access the large fridge for food and drinks, and even wow your guests with a secure place to transport wine bottles. You’ll soon be the go to hang out for any trip.
