In May we announced an exciting partnership with Omaze, the online fundraising platform, to win one of the first EC Terranova’s made available to the public. Every donation went to support the incredible work of First Descents which provides life-changing outdoor adventures for young adults impacted by cancer and other serious health conditions.
The sweepstakes ran from end of May until August 31st, with the winner announced September 15th. The participation and interest were phenomenal and we were overwhelmed, in the best way, with the reach of this campaign with people from over 90 countries entering the sweepstakes.
Combined with the global donations, and generous matching from Gross Family Foundation ($100,000) and I’m Not Done yet Foundation ($50,000), we were able to raise over $435,000 for First Descents to support them on their important mission.
