One of the least densely populated countries on earth, Namibia offers the intrepid overlander miles of gravel and sand roads lined with jaw-dropping desert scenery you’ll rarely have to share with anyone else. This trip takes in the best of the country along with some of the iconic places of South Africa as it winds its way north from Cape Town to the world-class Etosha National Park at the top end of Namibia, ending at the bustling capital city of Windhoek. Along the way you’ll see elephants and zebra, penguins, and antelope, along with the largest canyon on the continent and the world’s tallest sand dunes. You’ll get to test your driving skills through the deep sand of the Deadvlei and the salt roads of the Skeleton coast while enjoying evenings at comfortable campgrounds for delicious meals around the campfire.

This trip is designed for wildlife lovers and those who truly want to get off the beaten path and into the wilderness of Africa. After spending time with the first peoples of the Kalahari, the San Bushmen, we’ll visit the Makgadikgadi Pans area before heading into the heart of the Okavango Delta.

Starting in Ushuaia, known as the “End of the World” on the southern tip of S America, we will work our way up the Western side of the continent, winding our way between Chile and Patagonia.

This trip will provide the opportunity to explore some of the best stretches of the Florida Adventure Trail, the nature of Big Cypress and Everglades area, and the culture and scenery of the Keys.

Departing from EarthCruiser headquarters in beautiful Bend, Oregon, this trip takes in the best in coastal scenery in the Pacific Northwest. We’ll drive backroads through the Cascade Mountains, stopping at Crater Lake National Park. We’ll hit a few challenging backroads on our way south, where we’ll get the opportunity to hone our skills in off-road driving and recovery.

This trip is heavy on scenery and wildlife, taking in some of western Canada’s most epic views and pristine wilderness areas. Starting near Vancouver, BC, we’ll begin with an easy but jaw-dropping drive over the Sea to Sky Highway to Whistler. From there, we’ll head inland over some challenging roads to the isolated beauty of Chilko Lake, known as the location for the TV Reality Show, Alone.
