We recently received a visit from one of our Australian friends! This EarthCruiser has been traveling the world for five years and is prepared to continue on for quite some time.
This last Thursday, we got an exciting visit from the local Bend Parks and & Rec organization. Around 30 children and camp leaders came to see our facility in efforts to learn more about EarthCruisers. We were able to show them two vehicles in the process of being built, as well as one EarthCruiser that is visiting us from Australia. The kids were very interested in learning more about how Earthcruisers make it possible to see remote parts of the world while leaving very little evidence of their presence. They asked excellent questions about water conservation, as well as energy
One of our owners says “If I can’t repair something with a combination of: fencing wire, smaller gauge wire, electrical tape, self-amalgamating tape, electrical ties, Velcro tape, and a glue or two, then I am in big trouble….” We like to keep it smart but simple.
We get all kinds of visitors at EarthCruiser and look forward to becoming the place where overland travelers can stop for a chat with like minded people. Its also good for our crew to see what other vehicles are out there
This weekend we had a great group of people come visit us. Its always good to meet new people and we welcome visitors to our facility in Bend OR. Just let us know when you’d like to stop by.
