A Day Of Service: Supporting Local Wildlife with NPO, Think Wild

It was a cold, rainy September day in Central Oregon as members of EarthCruiser migrated to Think Wild’s Wildlife Rehabilitation Center. While our team didn’t know exactly what they were in for, their concerns were quickly overcome by the nobility of the mission at hand, supporting local native wildlife.  Since 2016, Think Wild has been a cornerstone of wildlife preservation and rehabilitation in our community. So, when the call came in asking for extra hands to help with constructing new facilities the decision to get involved was a no-brainer. Afterall, what’s an overland adventure if there’s now wildlife to observe?

Honoring Our Veterans – Nationwide and at Home

Did you know a good portion of our EC crew have served in the military? The skills and experiences that Veterans gained in their years of service and bring to EarthCruiser provide invaluable strengths to our business that we all benefit from – and we are so grateful for. Whether it’s rigorous discipline, methodical production, pivoting and adapting quickly, ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team, or a bias for action and problem-solving on their feet, we are so grateful to these hard working folks that help make us even stronger as a team, and company. What Responsible Overlanding Means to Me

One look at the incredible crowd gathered for the first Overland Expo PNW here in Bend, Oregon, this summer left no doubt that overlanding is currently seeing a tremendous growth in popularity. It seems everyone has discovered the joys of independent vehicle travel through the remote and wild places on our planet, and I couldn’t be happier to see it. This growth in popularity also raises questions about the future of our beloved pastime and way of life. What will this kind of travel look like as more people take to the back roads? How do we ensure we protect these

Owner Stories: Randy & Carol Dick and Their EC#37

Hi Randy and Carol, thank you for taking time to talk with us and share your story. Let’s start with you telling us a little about yourselves. In 2018 we semi-retired after working many years in business and government, but we still maintain a small family enterprise that keeps us out of trouble.  We have been married almost 40 years; have two adult children and two grandchildren. Carol grew up in the Fargo/Moorhead area of North Dakota/Minnesota and Randy is a born and bred San Diegan. We’re an outdoorsy family (how can you not be in San Diego?) and have
