On the blog today we have a video to watch on why it is important to have the proper tire upgrade or more importantly why we specifically use these ones. To learn more about the tires we use for building our EarthCruiser Demo click on the video below! RFC Video 7 – Tire Upgrade
When building an EarthCruiser you have to work from the ground up. Before you can move to building and attaching the frame you need to make sure all your engineering is correct and this starts with wiring the chassis. To learn more about the chassis build up click on the video below! RFC Video 6 – Chassis Build
Our Journey continues on our blog today with how we updated the suspension on our Fuso Chassis for The Rainforest Challenge. Not every chassis needs to be brand new to build an EarthCruiser. For our demo truck we will be using an older model chassis and replacing the suspension. As a result to changing the suspension you will have more capability to travel in remote locations. Check out the video below for more details! RFC Video 3 – Updated Suspension
This year we had the privilege of being nominated for some local awards! Bend Chamber has nominated us for Small Business of the Year as well as New & Emerging Business of the Year. We are thankful for the recognition we are receiving for all our hard work.
Here at the EarthCruiser HQ, we try to take a break from time to time and have a little fun. This time we chose to indulge in one of Bend’s favorites, the Cycle Pub! We hit the best of the local breweries (such as White Water Taphouse, GoodLife Brewing, and 10 Barrel) and as you can see, we did it in style. The Cycle Pub is a pub on wheels, and powered by the horsepower of its passengers. There’s no better way to bond a team than with a beer in hand. Especially a Bend grown, brew loving team like ours. Thank
We are always pushing ourselves to be ahead of the curve and produce the best product we can. Recently we paired up with Oregon State students Corbin Moser, Nicholas Evano, and Ryan McMahon to find ways to get the maximum efficiency out of our solar panels. They looked at the effects of cooling the panels as well as angling the panels to account for the position of the sun, and came up with some helpful results. You can read about their project here.

Loading and unloading can be easily done and gives you the peace of mind for safe transport anywhere around the world. EarthCruiser utilizes a Webasto Dual Top evo diesel system to provide both hot water and hot air for room (space) heating within the camper during cold weather. The Dual Top evo is an integrated air and water heating system that provides cabin heating and hot water in all seasons. Full climatic heating is user controlled by the adjustable thermostat on the command panel. The Webasto units are fed from the main fuel tank, so you need to keep fuel in the main tank if you need to use the heater, water heater or cooktop. The Dual Top can operate while the vehicle
