Our Journey Continues.. EarthCruiser Demo Reveal

The day we all have been waiting for is finally here! In RFC Video 24 we reveal our EarthCruiser demo, as it is being loading into the shipping container. The demo has shipped out of Seattle, Washington and is now on its way to Malaysia for The Rainforest Challenge. The race will take place November 24 – December 5th. The final phases of the cab are completed in RFC Video 23! Lance and “Genius Karl” discuss the components that need to be finished before shipping our demo off to Malaysia. They go over adding the custom seats, 110 v outlet to the center console and hooking up the cameras. Our Journey Continues… Bull Bar and Winch

In RFC Video 22 Lance goes over the bull bar and winch. As the official command center for The Rainforest Challenge both the bull bar and winch are a must have. We will be assisting racers get out of tough places in the race. Normally we use steel rope which is very strong and low maintenance. Our Journey Continues…Putting the Components Together

On the blog today we get one step closer to the demo being finished! Some of the final tasks involve putting all the components together. As Lance would say, “having the truck talk to the cab and the cab talk to the truck”.  In the video below we talk about why we like the cab over truck when working on the engine. Though the cab comes with what is necessary, we here at EarthCruiser have a different view on what makes the cab suitable for our clients. For example we prefer to have heated and cooling seats for those long journeys off grid. We also like to add spot lights and air compressors.
