Camp Cooking Recipe: “Soulless Sailor” Cocktail

EarthCruiser Service Manager, Alex Azevedo, is known for his detailed knowledge of our vehicles. He’s also the President of the company’s Social Club and knows how to mix a mean cocktail. His signature winter drink is what he had dubbed the “Soulless Sailor.” This concoction came about after long, cold days of snow machining (Alaskan for riding Snowmobiles) with friends in Alaska. He was looking for something to warm them up on those chilly adventures. Alex has always been partial to a Dark and Stormy, a drink made from dark rum and ginger beer, so when friends from Michigan told

Why Namibia Should Top Your List of Overlanding Dream Destinations

Namibia is one of the rare overlanding destinations that hits the sweet spot between rugged and approachable. The driving there is rough and remote. Still, you won’t likely break your vehicle, find yourself stranded, or put yourself in danger. You’ll want to watch for signs of elephants and lions while making camp, but you’ll rarely find yourself too far from a cold beer. An Introduction to International Vehicle Shipping

At some point, you may find yourself needing to ship your EarthCruiser, whether it’s for moving overseas, transporting it to Cape Town for the start of an epic African safari, or for hopping the Darien Gap on your way to the southern tip of the Americas. While the logistics of such an endeavor can seem daunting, you can take comfort in knowing EarthCruisers were designed with this need in mind. The Festive German Christmas Market Scene

I’ve always enjoyed the lead up to Christmas more than the actual holiday, and this year I convinced Lance that we needed to go to Germany for the Christmas markets, which I had read so much about. Fortunately, he agreed, and so off we went. This was another one of those non EarthCruiser holidays (although it would have been a fantastic EarthCruiser adventure) where I could revel in meals cooked for me and housework that I didn’t need to do. This visit we decided we’d stay north so we headed off to Cologne, our first market on our first night!
