Meet The EC Crew!

Meet the Crew: Tyler Wild

Tyler Wild knows good design. Holding bachelor’s and master’s degrees in architecture, he spent years in the field before searching for a better work/life balance and a change of pace. You can currently find him in the Production department at EarthCruiser. What brought you to EarthCruiser? I first moved to the Bend area to work as a Wildland Fire EMT. I was working in the emergency department during the peak of the Covid pandemic, right there on the front lines. As I did this work, I found myself listening to the people I was coming into contact with, and I

EC Co-Founder Michelle Boltz: Cooking in your EarthCruiser

As we all know, I really like to travel, and part of that is because I really like to eat and try new things. It doesn’t have to be exotic, and it doesn’t have to be ‘ethnic,’ it can just be things that I am not used to cooking at home. In America, there are so many regional foods that we may not know about them if we don’t live there. I’d never cooked crawfish until we were driving our EarthCruiser through the south. I probably won’t do it again because they were really fiddley, but I’m glad I did.

Omaze EC Terranova Sweepstakes Results: $436,525 Raised for First Descents

In May we announced an exciting partnership with Omaze, the online fundraising platform, to win one of the first EC Terranova’s made available to the public. Every donation went to support the incredible work of First Descents  which provides life-changing outdoor adventures for young adults impacted by cancer and other serious health conditions. The sweepstakes ran from end of May until August 31st, with the winner announced September 15th. The participation and interest were phenomenal and we were overwhelmed, in the best way, with the reach of this campaign with people from over 90 countries entering the sweepstakes.  Combined with the global donations, and generous matching from Gross Family Foundation ($100,000)

Hi Randy and Carol, thank you for taking time to talk with us and share your story. Let’s start with you telling us a little about yourselves. In 2018 we semi-retired after working many years in business and government, but we still maintain a small family enterprise that keeps us out of trouble.  We have been married almost 40 years; have two adult children and two grandchildren. Which Overlanding Platform Is Right For You? (Video Series)

Some of the most common questions we receive are how to determine what to look for and know what is right for you when evaluating an expedition vehicle While there are a lot of features and bells and whistles that go into making an overall decision, one of the most critical places to start is the platform, or base, the house is built on. The base platform of your vehicle will dictate its capability between truly going off-road or just down dirt roads. In this video series, EarthCruiser Founder, Lance Gillies and Head of Customer Training and Support, Clive Watson,
